However, in the eyes of her younger daughter Akeba, Daedessa gave an more important responsibility: to stay in the shadows, continuously testing and challenging her brother's vigilance in order to ensure that the Immortals were always worthy of their position. Akeba was the first to form a group called the Shadows with the idea that should they become the Immortals and become Immortals, they would become Immortals themselves.

Although Diablo Immortal retains the action role-playing elements and isometric perspective associated with the series what sets it apart from its predecessors is the fact that it's a mobile-based, free-to-play MMO. It's constructed to allow for this kind of gameplay.

Blizzard have confirmed, while the game will feature an array of dungeons that are similar to those used in PC and console versions However, they will be less long, running between 10-15 minutes in length so that they are more digestible for mobile gamers.
