The only thing we know about the hardware

Sony has plans to be ambitious for its next generation of  FUT 23 Coins virtual reality hardware in that it hopes that it will have two million models of its PSVR 2 headset ready by the month of March.

Mass production of the virtual reality headset is said to have started with the start of September (via Bloomberg) and has never faced any issues with its supply chain. With the PS5 remaining very popular due to its lack of availability since it launched in November 2020, Sony will also be able to put additional consoles available in early 2023 according to Bloomberg's sources.

PSVR 2 has yet be announced beyond 2023, however Sony is trying to make sure that there's enough PS5 consoles for gamers to play games on the new headset. The device will only function with PS5 and won't be compatible with backward-compatible PSVR games.

The only thing we know about the hardware is that it comes with impressive specifications. Similar to its predecessor, the PS5 as well as its DualSense controller, Sony is incorporating haptic feedback and adaptive triggers eye-tracking, inside-out trackers, and 3D audio into the kit which isn't yet available for the price at which it will retail.

"PSVR 2 looks poised be an important step for gaming arena," Tamoor Hussain wrote in GameSpot's PSVR 2 preview. "It still remains to be determined whether PSVR 2 will draw a large amount of attention, but at the minimum, I'm confident that it'll bring us one step closer to achieving the full potential of this device."
