ปตท นอมินี เกี่ยวอะไรกับทักษิณ
ยังมีกลุ่มใครบางคนที่มีความพยายามสร้างความเข้าใจผิดให้ประชาชนเกิดความเข้าใจที่สับสน โดยเฉพาะในโลกโซเชียลว่า ปตท. เป็นของทักษิณอยู่เรื่อยๆหรือเรียกอีกอย่างว่าปตท นอมินีโดยเฉพาะกลุ่ม NGO ด้านพลังงานบางกลุ่ม ที่ต้องการเรียกคะแนนเสียง จากความเกลียดชังทางการเมือง
ทั้งที่ในความเป็นจริงแล้ว หุ้นใน ปตท. ประมาณ 67% นั้น เป็นของรัฐบาล ถือหุ้นผ่านทั้งกระทรวงการคลัง กองทุนรวมวายุภักษ์ และกองทุนประกันสังคม โดยที่เมื่อมีการตรวจสอบไปถึงคนในตระกูลชินวัตร พบว่ามีการถือหุ้น เพียง 7,700 หุ้น จากหุ้นทั้งหมด 2.85 พันล้านหุ้น หรือคิดเป็น 0.0002% เท่านั้น ซึ่งไม่สามารถมีอิทธิพลต่อการบริหารงานของ ปตท. ได้เลย
ส่วนในกรณีที่มีการตั้งข้อสงสัยว่า อาจถือหุ้นผ่านบริษัทนอมินีต่างประเทศ ต้องเข้าใจว่ามันเป็นเรื่องที่สามารถทำได้และเปิดเสรีอยู่แล้ว ซึ่งหากจะเหมาว่ากองทุนนอมินีต่างชาติทั้งหมดเป็นของทักษิณ นั่นหมายความว่า ทักษิณต้องมีเงินมหาศาลขนาดที่ว่าจะซื้ออะไรก็ได้เลยทีเดียว
