In a blog post(opens in new tab) posted yesterday, the development team provided an update on the game's plentiful bots. The team said that they were "working on internal methods and tools that will make it harder for bots to get into the game".It comes after an announcement made last week which stated that Lost Ark Gold had "been hard at work on developing effective tools and strategies to identify and remove Bots that are in the game" and had banned more than a million "bot" accounts from its servers(opens in a new tab) on March 4. "Last Friday, we started rolling out bot bans and targeted more than a million fraudulent accounts," The update noted (thanks, NME(opens in new tab)). "We know that this won't be enough to fix the problem and there are bots playing the game therefore we'd like to give an assurance that this is just one of many steps in the ongoing battle.

Lost Ark is still fighting bots as well as accounts that aren't legitimate.

It follows an announcement last week that stated Smilegate had "been busy creating effective tools and methods to remove players from their game" and removed more than one million "bot" accounts from its servers(opens in new page) at the end of March.
